You know Dasher and Dancer ^*1
And Prancer and Vixen, ^*2
Comet and Cupid ^*3
And Donner and Blitzen, ^*4
But do you recall ^*5
The most famous reindeer of all?  ^*6

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer ^*7
Had a very shiny nose ^*8
And if you ever saw it ^*9
You would even say it glows  ^*10

All of the other reindeer ^*11
Used to laugh and call him names ^*12
They never let poor Rudolph ^*13
Join in any reindeer games  ^*14

Then one foggy Christmas Eve ^*15
Santa came to say ^*16
“Rudolph, with your nose so bright, ^*17
Won't you guide my sleigh tonight?”  ^*18

Then all the reindeer loved him ^*19
As they shouted out with glee: ^*20
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, ^*21
You'll go down in history!  ^*22
