Omlouvám se za titulek, nevím jak to lépe nazvat. Pokud bych nechtěl použít “whose”, je toto správně?

‘Calculate the transactions of which the sum of sales exceeds..’ would be one way of translating the sentence.

In fact, ‘Calculate the number of transactions of which the sum of sales exceed…’ would be a more accurate way of phrasing it.

To není stejný význam. Nejde o výpočet transakcí, ale jen jejich počet (count). Ten druhý překlad se mi nějak nezdá – má to stejnou stavbu, jako by tam bylo whose…
Od rodilého mluvčího (vyber pytel peněz, součet jehož bankonek je 1000):
Select the bag the sum of the contents of which is 1000.
Of which je až na konci..

‘Select the bag which holds a total of 1000…’ is a much better way of phrasing the translation. Any native speaker would agree that ‘Select the bag the sum of the contents of which is 1000.’ is not an eloquent way of translating your sentence.

You're right – but you don't need it in the translation.

use ‘of which’?
