Odkud to zadání máte?

Zadání vytvářela naše profesorka (američanka) kterou máme na konverzaci. Omlovám se za překlep má tam být místo the they.

Přestože kontextu rozumím, nevím co doplnit – respektive bych doplnil to samé co jsem napsal do testu a bylo to chybně:

5. “played a prank” to by třeba mohly být družičky, ne? bridesmaids? I když spíš se teda o prsten stará “best man” pokud se nepletu. Zvláštní věta. 

Asi je to tak..chief bridesmaid nebo taky maid of honor nebo taky matron of honor je-li vdaná. Ale v u.s.je nejvhodnější jak píšeš maid of honor.

Já jsem našel, že o ring se stará právě jen jedna družička..tedy ta chief bridesmade. Ale tam je množné they…
