Ale co mi psal Angličan, doslova: we rarely say “novella” in English,
the majority of people would not know exactly what it means to be honest (you'd
have a linguistic advantage definitely) or people will use “short story”;
it's not a word I have ever used personally to describe a book.
“Novel” is basically used just as another word for “book”, so… for
example on the Animal Farm page it is referred to as a novel and a novella
multiple times, and on the George Orwell wikipedia page Animal Farm is referred
to as a novella, and it is technically a novella.
In short: Novel is a basic description of what it is (a book), and novella is
technical.
nebudou. To bylo spíš jen z mé zvědavosti
