I have decided to study business because I always wanted to be an entrepreneur. Some people say that I do not need a school for entrepreneurship but I think the exact opposite. University gives me a lot of knowledge helpful for my entrepreneur career. But the biggest advantage of studying business is the fact that I meet people who have similar plans as I have. Studying university also teach me to have a discipline. I think that discipline is very important in entrepreneurship.

I attend the University of Economics in Prague. I have chosen this university because it is the biggest business university in the Czech Republic and personally I think it is the best business university in the Czech Republic. I am currently in my 4th semester. I study a programme called Corporate Finance and Management. I have completed subjects like Marketing, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Logistics, Mathematics, Law, Accounting and so on. So I hope I have quite a big range of knowledge.

Recently I have started my own online magazine about travelling and an e-shop with a special t-shirt of travelers. I hope it will be a succesful project but if it is not at least I will gain some experience.

I would like to participate in the Erasmus+ programme in the winter semester of 2018/2019. There are two main reasons why I have decided to study abroad.

Firstly I like meeting people from the whole world. I have participated in two volunteer programmes in Italy and Spain. On both projects there were people from a lot of different countries and this experience was very interesting for me. So I think studying abroad would be an ideal way to educate myself and expand my horizons at the same time. I could also take advantage of the Erasmus+ experience in my potential job in a multi-cultural environment.

Secondly I would like to improve my English, which would be an enormous advantage for my future life. I have never studied in English and the United Kingdom is one of the best places for English improvement. I have dreamt about living in the UK since my childhood and this is a great opportunity.

I have chosen the University of Portsmouth because it is a highly rated modern university and also offers practical experience. I like the city of Portsmouth because it is not as crowded as London for example. I have looked for some information about Portsmouth and I look forward a lot.

Lastly I am going to mention my hobbies. My favourite hobby is workout. I like to exercise because it makes me feel energetic and physically fit most of the time. It is also a good way how to overcome stress from studying. And of course I love travelling but I think it is clear from previous paragraphs.
