Dobrý večer všem,
co prosím znamená “ragged under” v tomto kontextu?
“People like Fiona really pissed him off. They ruined it for everyone. It wasn’t easy, floating on her surface of everything: it took skill and nerve, and when people told you that they were thinking of taking their own life, you could feel yourself being ragged under with them.”
Odhaduju něco jako “bude vám připadat, že vás chtějí vzít s sebou”. Ale nikde jsem ten význam nenašel…
: “dragged under (her/their surface of
everything).”
Jakože se snažil se nenechat moc ovlivnit jejími názory, ale když mu
řekla, že se chce zabít, tak se nechtěně naladil na stejnou vlnu / začal
jí rozumět?
