Report on the placement in Zamet, spol. s. r. o.
My placement (experience) in the second year was a long 8 weeks, started 30th May and over 22nd July. (z touhle větou si nevím rady, chci říct – moje praxe ve druhém ročníku trvala 6 týdnů, začla 30.5. a skončila 22.7) I worked in the company which is called Zamet, spol. s.r.o. (Zamet, Co. Ltd. ) and which have headquarters is in the Nový Hrozenkov. I worked in Halenkov where the company has one of the three branches.
Zamet was founded in 1994 and it is limited company. Its business is metal production focusing on processing sheet metal, making sheet metal parts, surface treatment and installation. Their goal is to deliver to their clients products in such shape and quality as to ensure that the supplied parts would not require any further technological operations. In 2005 the company opened a new branch specialising on machining. It is equipped with a wide (nebo broad-široká škála) range of machine tools. And in 2007 was opened the third and final branch of the company. There are works many managers. Company supply their products to clients from a variety of industries, both in the Czech republic and abroad. (tento odstavec jsem opsala z jejich stránek,tak by to mělo být dobře)
The company employs 174 employees. Executive officer of the company is also owner of the company. Company has three departments – operational, finance, and production. In each department is a director, who is responsible for the work of other. I worked for a financial director and sometimes for operational director.
My tasks were for example: creating price lists and its updates, preparation of necessary documents, completion of documents, checking invoices (faktur), receipt of orders, and I participated in the preparation of business plan, such as determining the optimal reserve.
during experience I worked with workers of finance, Accounting and Production Planning.
I worked in an open plan office where I had own office space. In this office worked another 8 people. My workspace was fully equipped. There was desk, notebook, printer, scaner, and other office supplies such as glue, stapler, scissors, highlighters..
Foreigners visited the company several times but I didn´t met with them. So I did not speak English in my placement in Zamet company.
My placement had many benefits for example: work wasn't monotonous, I knew a lot of new people with a lot of experience, I learned to work in the new computer program, and finally most important benefits is that I found that I enjoy this job

Zkusil jsem se na to podívat. Takhle se to opravuje těžko pár chyb tam je. Řekl bych, že hlavně chybí vazba there is apod.
I ta opravená verze je dost kostrbatá, ale to by se muselo vzít z gruntu.

Report from My Work Placement at Zamet s.r.o.

My work placement in the second year of my studies lasted 8 weeks from 30th May to 22nd July and I worked in a company named Zamet s.r.o. The company’s head­quarters are in Novy Hrozenkov but I worked in one of their three branches, which was located in Halenkov.
Founded in 1994, Zamet is a limited liability company whose core business is the processing of sheet metal, production of sheet metal parts and assembly. The company’s objective is to deliver parts to their customers in such shape and quality that no further technological operations are needed on the customer’s side.
In 2005 the company opened a new branch specialising in machining equipped with a wide range of machining tools. Finally, the third branch of the company was opened in 2007.
The company supplies their products to clients from a variety of industries both in the Czech Republic and abroad. There are many managers working in the company.
The company employs 174 employees. The owner of the company is also the chief executive officer. The company has three departments – operations, finance and production. For each department there is a director.
During my work placement I worked for financial director and sometimes for operations manager.
My tasks included for example generation of price lists and their updates, preparation of necessary documents, completion of documents, checking invoices, reception of orders and I also participated in the preparation of business plans, like for example determination of the optimal reserve. Throughout my work placement I worked closely with colleagues involved in finance, accounting and production planning. My work place was located in an open plan office, which I shared together with 8 other employees. My work desk was fully equipped with IT equipment such as a laptop computer, a printer and a scanner, and also with office stationery such as glue, a pair of scissors, stapler and some highlighters.
During my stay the company was several times visited by foreign visitors but I didn’t have any opportunity to meet them so I couldn’t practice my English while I was working at Zemet.
I benefited from my placement in Zemet in many ways. Firstly, I met a lot of experienced people. Additionally, I was trained in using special software and, most importantly, the work at Zemet was interesting and I enjoyed it very much.
