Life with a foreigner

Hi, everybody!!! :-D I am fresh member of this side and I think that's great that something like this exists. I based this topic, because my husband is american and I would like to talk with somebody who has own experiences or friend..so on.

I met my husband in Prague two years ago and my english was so terrible ( I had some basic knowledge from school, but no ability to communicate like a human being)and I am still surprise that he didn't escape and had patiente listening me, respektive what I tried to say. And so I improvised and talk my czech english.

Now I have to learn english. Fortunately I have good bases from grammar school that I need seriously brush up. You can say it's easy when you live in the english speaking country but most of my friends are czech  and at home we speak french. I don't work, I look after my children – it doesn't help neither.

Could you speaking english me every day, please?? Mary

Wow, you were quite right about your English :-). I think the best solution for you would be finding a penfriend, preferably from some English-spoken country.

Thanks, you have fact, but I don´t know some people from english – spoken country, and nowadays I can´t to go into English – spoken country, because I study at university and haven´t got some money and because I have holiday job,and I need to speak with some english person.
Could you writing english me every day, please?

I've sent you an e-mail. Check it out.

Hey folks,
it seems that quite a bit of u have english speaking blokes ;-)So do i, really. I met my little english boy in Prague (how original, right?lol)three years ago n later on we moved in together in Wales… And..well… we ve been living here ever since. End of the story :-D

I moved to Ireland one year ago. It was pretty complicated to get on with all those ‚little‘ things you just have to sort out when you come to a new place. It was a hard time for me and I'm glad I survived. Nowadays, I do not have Irish friends, although I should very much like. But I have my nice colleagues who help me a lot to to improve my spoken English. I mean, there's nothing that difficult to write a few words but the real thing is to speak with an old Irish man when on the bus or so – and you can bet Irish people like to talk a lot! :-D

Hey guys! How are you doing? Well, i have something to say as well – first thing – i live in UK so i have to use my „perfect“ english everyday, besides my boyfriend is from Nigeria so i am trying to get over our communication gap. Honestly, it s not easy, but i am trying. And as my boyfriend said: Life is a game. This game is not for losers so you have to cheer up and fight!
Let`s fight then!
