Globalization is a process of economical, cultural and social integration. It simply means that differences in culture and economical models of particual states vanish. As the first step to globalization is considered the development of transit. The internet has been playing a key role. I would like to name two advantages of globalization that are, in my opinion, the most important. First advantage is that globalization brings standardization. Standardization comprises a variety of things (from dimensions of papers to process of machine manufacture) and it makes goods cheaper, in the end. The second advantage is that globalization leads to the acceleration of the technology development. On the other hand, there are drawbacks. One typical example is that multinational corporations „extorts“ goverments of small countries to get best conditions to build factories and other benefits. Globalization mostly goes arm-in-arm with westernization and people have to adapt themselves because there is no other alternative. In my opinion, the consequence of globalization is even higher „power of money“ and unfortunately it's an irreversible process.
