Chtěla jsem se zeptat, jestli je tento překlad gramaticky správný. Tuto práci potřebuji do školy. Děkuji za odpověď

In summer I was in Újezd or Šternberk. I live in Újezd. I worked in the restaurant near my home. The restaurant is new, modern and great. My friend Katka works in the restaurant every day. I worked there one month. Then I visited my grandmother and grandfather. Then I and my mother went on trip in Jiříkov. We saw a lot of wooden statues. My grandmother went to hospital when we were in Jiříkov. She was in hospital two days. She broke her leg. I was often in Šternberk, because my boyfriend lives here. His name is Dan. We were going to the cinema, when my mum called me. She caled me, becasue my grandmother backed at the hospital. Next day I visited her. She was happy. In summer holiday met my friend Radka. We went to the restaurant in Olomouc. We was eating fish and chips, when man next the table read newspaper. He was so funny. He was ewaring a pink T-shirt and orange shorts. My summer holidays was great and funny. My family are going to go our weekend house in september, but I´ m not going to go with them. I´m going to at home with my mum.

Rychle jsem Vám přelétl aspoň pár základních chyb. Chyby jsou zvýrazněné. Zvýrazněné jsou i nějaké vyjádření, které se mi nezdály být přirozené pro rodilé mluvčí a proto jsem se je Vám snažil lépe přepsat.

No, it is not a mistake; however, this meaning can be far better conveyed with the present perfect. On the other hand, you are right. I should have stuck to the story we are provided.

I also forgot to mention that all the highlighted parts are not only mistakes, but they are also rewritten so that they sound a bit better, leastways according to me.:)

Dodala bych, že před because a but nemá být čárka.

Ve větě We went to the restaurant in Olomouc. má být neurčitý člen. A rozhodně spíš než a man next to the table was reading newspaper bych dala a man next to our table was reading newspaper.

Navíc Marold zbytečně (neřkuli nesprávně – v originále nejedou na návštěvu) přepsal tuto větu: My family are going to go our weekend house in september… Stačilo opravit september na September a dodat předložku to, protože v tomto případě je plurál are v pořádku (rodina se společně chystá na chalupu).

Před because a but čárka být určitě může, viděl jsem to mnohokrát jak u rodilých mluvčí na anglických fórech, tak v knihách. Př – Harry Potter.

Př. z anglické wikipedie: “You told me I could do that , but she said that I could not.”

Př. z anglické wikipedia: “He's not a nice guy, because he yells at people for no reason.”

Omlouvám se Vám tedy za špatnou korekci. Jak jsem říkal, přelétl jsem to a tudíž jsem nečetl důkladně kontext, podle kterého bych odvodil určitý nebo neurčitý člen. Vím, že takováto oprava je zbytečná. Ale KAŽDÝ dělá chyby.

Já určitě dělám chyby. Zdá se, že jsem byla moc hrubá, neúmyslně. Tak se omlouvám.

Ano, Vaše komentáře jsem si vyložil jako ironické a neopodstatněné a proto jsem stejně reagoval zpět. Já se tu snažím jen pomáhat a nemám důvod si odsud odnášet sarkastické poznámky moderátorů.:)

Já jsem sám osobně taky viděl hodně lidí říkat nesmysly tady v helpforu těm, co se ptali. A ano, chyby děláte stejně jako já.:)

Co znamená ve výše uvedeném textu:
‘She called me, because my grandmother backed at the hospital.’?

Nemal by tam byť člen ? …was reading the newspaper …

To určitě,ale:
was reading a newspaper.

Swimmer, té větě sám nerozumím. Nevím, co tím autor myslel.
