Kdyby bylo víc kontextu, omezila by se chybovost. Takhle ten překlad bude takové střílení od boku.

I've seen through the horror – prohlédl jsem ten horor, ve smyslu pochopil jsem ho,(podstatu, děj, pointu).

Asi tak bych to přeložil já.

Jak ale říká Lucka, více kontextu by zaručilo přesnější překlad.
