Thanks very much for your letter. I´m glad everything is going well and I´m fine too. I am writing for you, because I would like to see you. I would like to invite you to the school choir performances.
It is a Christmas musical concert. It is going it on 20th December. It is going in school gym. There are in the school choir students who play a musical instrument and students who sing. On Christmas concert we are going to sing Christmas carols and other songs. I am going play the whole concert on the piano.
You can arrive by train. I wait for you at the station. We walk to the house and in the evening we go to a concert at school. We could go on pizza after the concert. You can sleep at me. We can go to the city for Christmas shopping in the morning.
I hope to see you coming to me. I look forward to you.

I am writing for you – I am writing TO you

It is a Christmas musical concert. It is going it on 20th December – Zejména ta druhá věta je nesmysl, já bych to vyjádřil “On 20th December, there is going to be a concert.”

It is going in school gym – It is GOING TO BE in A school gym

There are in the school choir students who play – Zde máte zpřeházený slovosled, správně je: “In the school choir, there are students, who can play a musical intrument.”

I am going play the whole concert on the piano – I am going TO play

I wait for you at the station. We walk to the house and in the evening we go to a concert at school. – Všude mají být budoucí časy: I´ll wait for you, we will walk, we will go.

We could go on pizza after the concert – We can go to eat pizza (určitě ne GO ON PIZZA.  )

You can sleep at me – You can sleep at my place

It is going to be in the school gym – bude to ve školní tělocvičně – Zde bych nedával neurčitý, bude to právě v té tělocvičně.

at the christmas concert = na jednodenní svátky se používá at 

Tady nejde o podstatné jméno “Christmas”, ale o vazbu “at the concert”. Christmas zde má funkci přídavného jména, které rozvíjí podstatné jméno “concert”.

A ještě k těm svátkům:

U jednodenních svátků (např. Halloween) se používá předložka “on”. U vícedenních svátků (Christmas, Easter, etc.) se užívá předložka “at”.

Musím se přiznat, že těmi členy si moc jistý nejsem. Já bych dal neurčitý, protože školy mají většinou alespoň dvě tělocvičny a my nevíme, v které z nich se ten koncert bude konat. Navíc tu tělocvičnu zmiňujeme poprvé. Ale fakt je, že by se také dalo uvažovat tak, jak píšete, čili že to je ta konkrétní tělocvična, ve které se ten koncert bude konat a posluchač již ví, kterou máme na mysli.

Shrnul bych to asi takto: Pokud by těch tělocvičen bylo více a posluchač by nevěděl, kterou máme na mysli, byl by tam neurčitý. Pokud by byla jen jedna tělocvična, tak by tam byl určitý.

In the school choir there are students who can play a musical instrument -Proč píšete znovu větu, kterou jsem již psal já?
