While I know that this is not exactly the place for lonely hearts, I've decided to give it a go anyway.

The thing is that I've been forever trying to meet my perfect other half, yet all my efforts have been in vain. That's why I've decided to take a slightly different approach this time. Since I'm pretty shy and not very loquacious, I usually have a hard time expressing myself which may be rather off-putting in the eyes of my date. For this reason, to tip the scales in my favour a little bit, I've decided to ask my next prospective partner out on an “English-only” date.

This arrangement is not only to make up for my lack of verbal prowess as far as my native language (Czech) is concerned, there is also a more practical reason behind it. I've found out that in order to get along with my prospective partner, I need to have something in common with that person. Random dates do not really work for me. With this English-only date I could be sure that the girl who would opt to go out with me would share my passion for English. With this common interest, I believe, there might be a teeny-weeny chance of the date going better than my previous ones.

So, to cut to the chase, here's my proposal:

I would hereby like to ask any girl who's bonkers about English and who also happens to be single and on the lookout for a boyfriend to go out on a proper date with me. I live near Brno, but I'm also able to get to Olomouc without any major trouble. I am fumbling for something to say. To be honest, if I were a girl zealous in English I would opt for you – I'm in dead earnest about it . Despite the fact that I haven't had a chance to get acquainted with you I regard it as certainty that you are cool. Your words speak for themselves. You have got English down to a fine art and in addition to that I think you are in your right mind.
