Nevím si rady se čtyřmi větami. Prosím o tipy:

1. I thought it was an excellent restaurant for lunch.
2. I would highly _________________ at that restaurant.

NENÍ DOBŘE: I would highly prefer eating lunch at that restaurant.

2. Carrie’s interests are completely different from mine.
3. I don’t have _________________ Carrie.

NENÍ DOBŘE: I don't have the same interests as Carrie.

3. If the Czech hockey team can work together, they should win.
4. The Czech hockey team should win, so ______________ work together.

NENÍ DOBŘE: The Czech hockey team should win, so long as they can work together.

4. "Do you all understand the task?” asked the teacher.
5. The teacher asked __________________ the task.

NENÍ DOBŘE: The teacher asked if we all understood the task.

1. recommend eating (máte za to, že je to dobrá restaurace, tím pádem byste ji vřele doporučil, PREFER opravdu vyjadřuje něco jiného)
2. anything in common with (když má úplně odlišné zájmy, tak Vy s ní tím pádem nemáte nic společného)
3. dal bych they'd better work together (měli by vyhrát, čili by měli spolupracovat)

Čtvrtá věta je (minimálně gramaticky) v pořádku, takže netuším, co by si autor testu představoval za odpověď…

Moc děkuji. Druhá věta (anything in common with) je takto správně. Ostatní bohužel také nebyly uznány jako správné odpovědi.

V tom případě jsem dost zvědavý, co na to ostatní… Nechci tady provozovat příliš velký hatchet job, ale zkrátka si o těchto testech myslím své, a nic lichotivého to není. 

1. Bych napsal stejně jako ozacek (pokud to není dobře, tak bych rád věděl, co na tom není dobře)
2. Bych napsal stejně jako vy
3. Absolutně netuším, co tam nacpat, aby to mělo stejný význam
4. The teacher asked if we understood the task. (“we all” mi tady zní hodně divně)

Potřebuji vědět zda jsou správně přeloženy následující věty :

Pokud by Sýrie nebyla v občanské válce, návštívil bych určitě také její hlavní město Damašek. If Syria would not be in the civil war, I would certainly visit also the capital city Damascus.

Všem, kterým něco říká kniha knih – Bible, návštěvu této části světa doporučuji, ale pouze když v této oblasti konečně nastane mír. Everyone who says something the book of books – the Bible, I recommend a visit this part of the world, but only if a peace finally happens in this area.

Trochu bych ty překlady poupravil:

Pokud by Sýrie nebyla v občanské válce, návštívil bych určitě také její hlavní město Damašek.

If there were (was) not civil war in Syria, I would certainly visit the capital city Damascus as well.

Všem, kterým něco říká kniha knih – Bible, návštěvu této části světa doporučuji, ale pouze když v této oblasti konečně nastane mír.

I would recommend visiting that part of world to all people who are interested in Bible, but only if (on condition that) peace is restored.
