Dear Sir/Madam

With this cover letter I would like to express my interest in the Erasmus programme to get a chance to study for one semester abroad.

My name is Petra Hruba and I study in Technical University of Liberec. As my study programme I have chosen Recreology which is a mixture of pedagogy, sport and economy.

The several reasons why I've decided to apply for this program is that I believe that this is a unique opportunity to deeply experience different culture and lifestyle. Also it would be a great chance to learn a new language and help me to broaden my horizons.

That is also one of the main points why I would like to study in UNIVERSITY OF ALGARVE which takes the first place in my preferences.

In the last three years, I've traveled to many countries I spent some time in this summer Portugal. I was excited, so I really would like to spent more time there. The Erasmus program seems like a great way to living and studying in this country. I believe that education in Portugalees is high-quality. I am absolutely fascinated by the mentality of people and culture your countries. Caught my attention that people are so friendly and there is a great atmosphere among them. I would like to improve my language abilities and the best way how to do this is practising it with other speakers and in Portugal I would have to perfect conditions for it. I believe that your university could help me in future challenges. The experience that I could gain by the chance to study abroad would be valuable for my future profession and personal development.

I am very ambitious person and I follow my dreams. I believe education is much more that school marks and learning. It is about discovering something new, about experiences, about what you have learned, understood and how much you can take from it.

I would be very grateful you give me a chance to represent our university.
