Od té doby co/Kdykoli zde trávím pravidelně dovolenou, tak běhávám svou oblíbenou trasu už mnoho let

Věta v daném znění nepůsobí přirozeně v angličtině a snad, troufám si říct (- dare I say it), ani v češtině. Proč? Protože nemá jasný topic focus (nebo functional perspective). What's the main point (or topic focus or functional perspective) here?

  1. I've been coming here on holiday for many years (and this is my favourite running route), or
  2. this is my favourite running route when I'm here (and I've been coming here for many years)?
  • I've been coming here on holiday for many years and whenever I'm here, this is my favourite running route.
  • this is my favourite running route when I come here on holiday, and I've been running it for many years.

Iterativní vazbu „am used to VERBing“ (běhávám) není potřeba vyjadřovat v angličtině protože iterativnost už vyjadřuje „pokaždé“ (whenever, every time, for many years).
