Poradíte mi prosím jakou správnou předložku mám použít pro vyjádření
„před“ v níže uvedené větě?
Věta: Před prvním písmenem je mezera. Odstraň ji
Můj návrh:
There is a space before first letter.
Remove it.
Before se převážně pojí s časem (časová předložka). Jiná předložka mi ale do věty nesedí.

You're right that „before“ is mostly used in a time context, but it's ok in your context here. You can also say „… a space in front of the first letter“, which is more common – see the Ngram .
