Mohli byste mi prosím dát tipy jak správně přeložit věty níže?

Věta:
Dnes je poslední den, kdy máme vypůjčené auto. Vracím Vám klíče od zapůjčeného auta od agentury XYZ. Jsem domluvený s agentem, že máme nechat klíče u Vás na recepci.

Můj pokus:
Hello. Today is the last day we have car rented. I am here to return the XYZ's car key. I have arranged with the agent to leave the key at the front desk.

Kontext:
Informuji recepční na hotelu, že vracím klíče od zapůjčeného auta agentury XYZ a že jsem domluvený s pánem, který mi auto vypůjčil, že mám poslední den nechat klíče na recepci.

Poradíte mi prosím jak to vhodně vyjádřit či zda je můj překlad aspoň trochu pochopitelný?

I would tweak (poopravit) your first sentence (although your version would be understood): Hello, this is the last day of our car rental agreement.

The rest of your version is okay as it stands. 🙂

Ahoj Dane. Díky moc za kontrolu překladu. Šlo by případně ono „jsem domluvený“ vyjádřit místo „arrange“ slovesem „agree“? Pokud ano jak by ta věta vypadala, aby měla stejný význam jako arrange? Napadá mne agree on, ale neumím to zakomponovat do věty.

Both versions are ok here.

• I have arranged with the agent to leave the key at the front desk.
• I have agreed with the agent to leave the key at the front desk.

It's clear from the context who is leaving the key. If this was a stand-alone sentence with no context, it wouldn't be clear who is leaving the key – me, or the agent. The stand-alone sentence could be made clear by saying

• I have arranged with the agent for me to leave the key at the front desk. (klíč nechám já)
• I have agreed with the agent for me to leave the key at the front desk.
• I have arranged with the agent for him to leave the key at the front desk. (klíč nechá on)
• I have agreed with the agent for him to leave the key at the front desk.

Ahoj, jenom otázka, prosím: je the XYZ's car skutečně správně? Protože XYZ je název firmy a u gen. je použit apostrof, předpokládal bych, že zde člen být nemůže?

Yes, you're right, XYZ's car key or the XYZ car key. (But there's no risk of any misunderstanding.)

Tak tomu asi bude, ale v reálném životě je vždycky kontext. Když už řeknete „I am here to return the key“, tak je už jasné, že klíc nechám já, ne agent.
